For the price, I'd call the bow 'good enough'. I bought the bow for my wife since it has a light draw weight (30 lbs. according to package). It even has decent letoff. We've shot at least 300 arrows so far and haven't had any problems. It's good to about 25 yards, and is even handling the 'adult' arrows pretty well from 25 yards. Don't expect tight grouping with this bow, don't expect to get a deer with it, but OK for a starter bow and teaching the basics to a youngster. Wouldn't buy it for an adult though, we've had it less than a month and already looking for a 'real' bow for my wife. Of course it got me addicted so I'm also in the market.

I bought this for my son (12yr old) and he really enjoyed it. Nothing fancy but a great way to get started, especially for the price. He had a tough time drawing it back at first but got better with practice. Obviously won't take down a bear but it definitely has some power, not a weak little toy. The arrows are kinda junky but at least it gives you something to work with straight out of the box and you can go to an archery store for better arrows that match your draw length later. Good buy.
