This bow might tire the children, but I remember when I was 6 or 8 years old, with a skinny frame and had a 35# Bear Archery bow. I would get worn out keeping it at full draw, but I still had a lot of fun. Looking back, I would have loved to have this bow in its place.

I don't think I truly needed to pay extra for the kit, when I can just buy the bow itself, and pick up some youth arrows at a shop.

It's a great bow to get other people into the sport with. After they held and drew the bow, my little brother and Dad have been bugging me to get some arrows already so we can go shooting.
